About This Site
My Mother Mary Etta Helms was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer in 2004. She never gave up on fighting this devastating disease. When she left her pain behind on January 2nd, 2006, I decided to start this blog to help me cope with my grief and to share with the world all the special memories I have of my mother.
I hope you will be able to see at lease a glimpse of how beautiful she really was.
